Looking for. "simple" app that can have a shortcut on the desktop to do one...and only one thing: Clear the recent apps list. Doing this with standard features requires 1. a long press on the Home button, 2. a tap on the clear button, 3. a tap on the Home button or list area background. Not such big deal, but what a pain for such a simple function. NOT looking for an app that offers me cool features to choose from.

Depending on your phone, you might already have a Task manager shortcut in your widgets. It's not a one button push, but it'll get you there without having to long press the home button.
