    Hi !

Your question is very hard to answer it but if you can market it using Baying ads in facebook or other social media or google adword but if you don't want investing in promoting this app you just poste your app in social media groups or pages and forums there is some alternative App store like google play store " Amazon app store " for example .

    Thank you

    An in-app solution is to support sharing;

You can share a simple text promoting your app and then the users of your app can share as well...

Don't forget to put a link to the play store of your app of course

It's real fun, you can just use that code and you can let the user share via facebook/bluetooth/message/twitter/... any app the user has on their phone with sharing functionality...

Same here, looking for any advice on how to get my app noticed. Published my first app a few days ago and tried most of the free ways to promote it already. Any advice is welcomed, thanks!

Every passing day, it's becoming harder for indies to get a good ranking on app stores. The big guys spend tons of money buying ads and have good connections.

Your best bet is sharing on forums and Facebook.

I guess it is hard to promote an app without budget. If you have finances to spare, then CPI advertising, social media, forums, reaching out to some editors will help.

Yeah, for me it seems like paid advertising is the only way to get sustainable long term growth but you need to be making money to do that

There are many tools available to help promote your app.

One way is through buying ads. This method can be costly if your app does not go viral. If this method is chosen, do your research into the companies and other successful apps in the same category as yours. Targeted ads will help lower costs by increasing the amount of meaningful downloads. Facebook supposedly offers a great ad service for this, although I would check to ensure your app is compatible before jumping in.

Another way is to spend your own valuable time marketing. Some create websites. Others promote solely on social media. This can be nearly free, just time consuming. If you are here, I assume you are already taking this route

Best of luck to you friend.

I’m gonna share some tips you should go for without hesitation:

    1. Answer yourself who are the users of your app. Determine their age, gender, profession and interests, location. You must know why your app is better than other apps and try to deliver this information to your potential audience.

    2. Prepare an eye-catching logo for the app, write an indexable short description about it, take informing screenshots. You should optimize mobile app to rank higher in an app store's search. Check out such services as SensorTower or ASOdesk, AppFollow, etc. – they all should offer some free trials for new customers.

    3. Find out specific benefits and try to reach journalist who will be interested in promotion the app among their readers. Lots of them might write about you for free, if you can prove them the app is really cool. I’d suggest to check out the book by Steve Sande and Erica Sadun called “Pitch Perfect: The Art of Promoting Your App on the Web” written by journalists who have worked on mobile app reviews for many years.

    4. If you own a website, a blog, public pages in social networks, don’t ignore this channels of user acquisition. Make posts about your app – friends are prime candidates for using your app. It’s a way to receive the first feedback about the app. This will help you to find bugs and improve the app usability. If your app relates to your work, you can also add an url and QR codes to your app on emails or billing statements to your existing customers.

    5. There are lots of paid ways to promote an app.
The most effective method is launch ad campaign via such channels as Facebook or a CPI self-serve ad platform. It is a way to get non-incentive traffic. CPI means you will pay only for installs, real users who have downloaded your app, non-incentive traffic means it’s gonna be their genuine interest to download your app. You can spend even such a small sum as $100 to run a test ad campaign first.

    6. There are two types of traffic: incentive and non-incentive one. Incentive traffic costs less but it means that users are actually incentivized to install your mobile app. For instance, they play a game and are asked to install your app in exchange for an exclusive feature being opened, or some gold, or else. If we speak of non-incentive traffic, it’s easy to understand it on the basis of Facebook ads. You see an advertisement, you can scroll through or you can stop by and make a decision to download based on the topic of that app or you just liked the ad banner. This means you were non-incentivized to download it, and such traffic is called non-incentive.

    7. If you want to go into the traffic buying side of the business, make sure you’ve installed the SDK of a tracking system. A tracking system is a piece of code that will report the companies you’re going to work with by cost-per-install when the installs have been actually made. It’s a standard procedure to have the reporting set up, and basically every company on the market works with the popular tracking systems such as Appsflyer, Tune, Adjust, Kochava, etc.

    8. If you want to know how much it costs to promote an app in different countries, you can find out CPI (Cost-per-install) indexes from Clickky CPI Index here: goo. gl / naC662
The data below is based on Clickky’s advertising campaign data and shows average Android and iOS CPI comparison for non-incentive ads.
