So how do I get the sound to work?
Turn up the Media Volume and take your phone off silence/vibrate.

Thanks so much . . . there's no way I would've found that on my own.

Haven't used it long enough to do so. I'll post anything of the sort the more I test it.

Finally!! Yes! I downloaded it immediately after I saw the article for it on the main page!

I've been using Meebo since birth of Droid, and will still keep it for Facebook chat. But I'm glad a truely hosted AIM app is finally out!

Huh? Meebo has a Facebook chat client built into it. The new AIM app is just that, AIM.

This will work for Facebook chat for me until the official app gets Facebook support. Which won't be long probably, since Facebook just announced Jabber support.

Hmm, I don't see it, not that I care but I don't see where FB chat is in AIM app. I don't see any option for it. I don't see why you would want it, I downloaded it for AIM, not FB.

Ahh, I see it. And it is grayed out on mine. I just assumed it wasn't working. Oh well, and I don't know how you "enable it from a computer" but I don't plan on using it from within AIM. I'll use Meebo for that. But thanks.

Why would you not want to use ONE app for 2 things instead of using TWO apps? Especially when they're for the same type of activity.

I know this post is old, but is there any other way to get this for 1.6? It says it's supported but it isn't in the Market.
