    Hi,

I use Google Maps a lot on my mobiles for delivery work and have a mobile data connection on each.

I am planning to get one Wifi dongle (which will create a wifi hotspot to connect mutliple phones). The dongle has a SIM from the same telecom provider.

My question is, will GPS over this wifi be less accurate or give same performance?

    Thanks

GPS is done using the GPS sensor in the phone.

Wifi will feed you map data more quickly, but that has nothing to do with GPS accuracy.

Gps uses satelites. Nothing to do with any network at all. If to want pinpoint accuracy, you can use the network as well, then the phone triangulates the towers it can see and calculate where it is.. they are two separate things but can work together...
