apps stored in sd cards not showing up

Is there any way to recover them?

Also, what happens to the app folder files if I format my sd card? Would the apps that are working fine automatically create them again with no problems?

As for me, I have to make sure mine phone isn't connected to my PC via USB. If so, my apps don't show up.

Well mine is not connected to the computer. I had to erase data on my phone back to factory settings. I transferred what I could to the sd card, but some are not showing up.
