    I'm using the app Dictionary.com - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ctionary&hl=en
    I'd like to copy the settings - my saved words for example, to a new phone. Both phones are unrooted.
    Android\data looks empty - I assume root is needed to access that.

    The data is in a database file, but it's not available unless you're rooted. And, yes, all the folders in /data need root to even see.

    Thanks that's what I was afraid of. It's a good opportunity for apps makers to offer a paid version to make migrating easier.
