Anyone else been having problems with Waze and GPS?

Has anyone else been constantly losing GPS, sometimes for extended periods of time, with Waze? This happens even if GPS is working fine with e.g., Google Maps, etc. There is a thread on this in the Waze forums, but none of the proposed fixes have proven useful for those (including at least one other Note 4 owner, like me) with this problem. I can't recall precisely when it started, but it's been getting worse over the past month or so. Once in a while it works, but more often than not it doesn't. This is a shame, because it's been my go-to nav app for ages.
