Since I have a 3 year old that likes tech almost as much as I do, I always try to find great apps that he can interact with. I was super happy when I found these 6 books apps because he loves them and I thought I would share.

As a child did you ever read Little Critter book series by Mercer Mayer? Great kidsí books imo, and now as an android user we have a app for that.

Best part, each app is on sale for $.99 for a limited time and itís the best $6 bucks I have spent on apps this month.

We read these books nearly every night and my son canít get enough, and I hope you and your child get as much enjoyment out of the book apps as I do.

Here are some notes about the app from the publisher-

Three ways to read this omBook (Oceanhouse Media digital book):
    • "Read to Me" ó listen to the narrated story with words highlighted as they are read
    • "Read it Myself" ó read the book in its traditional form
    • "Auto Play" ó plays like a movie, automatically reading and turning pages. Great for younger children!

    Additional Features:
    • Picture / Word association ó words zoom up and are spoken when pictures are touched
    • Find the creature mini-game
    • Professional audio narration
    • Custom background audio for each scene
    • Pages pan & zoom to accentuate the beautiful, original art of Mercer Mayer

I have run the book app on both my Droid X and my rooted Nook Color with no issue at all.

Here is a screen shot of the app from my Nook.

Here is a link to all of apps in the market. Enjoy!

Hi, thanks for suggesting the book, need to try it out. Ocean House apps are indeed great. I also like Nosy Crow's and Kid's Academy's book apps.
