Firefox Mobile Coming to Android?

Over at Boy Genius Report they have just posted that it appears as though Firefox Mobile will be coming to the Android Platform in late 2010.

Not sure about all of you, but I am pretty excited about this, I love Firefox

I'm excited at the prospect of this as well. They seem to take a long time to develop for Mobile platforms though.

I guess I'd rather wait a long time for a functional and reliable version than have one rushed to market that is prone to bugs and other inconsistencies (e.g. Microsoft!). Firefox is by far the best desktop browser - can't wait to see what they'll do with a mobile version.
