Can't Make Blackberry Keyboard the Default in LG G4

I recently installed from the Play Store the Blackberry Manager, the Hub and services, and the keyboard on my LG G4. I granted all the necessary permissions in all of apps. The Hub seems to be working but the keyboard, although it installed successfully, does not show under the language and input option in the app manager unless I say select more. I see the BB keyboard but it is greyed out. I uninstalled and reinstalled the keyboard, cleared the system cache, and everything else I thought you should do to make the keyboard work.
I am currently using Swiftkey. The odd thing is when typing now using Swiftkey, the Blackberry spellcheck comes up as the default, even though I am using Swiftkey.
Any thoughts on what else I can do to make the keyboard my default instead of Swiftkey.

got the keyboard to work. A long press on the greyed out BB keybaord option caused it to activate. Now using the BB keyboard.
