Is it worth it? Does it help out? What exactly does it do?

It's a forum client. It is well worth the price. I use it everyday. It's a must if you spend a lot of time on forums with your phone. It also can be used with other forums that support it.

Hmm okay, how can I tell if a forum supports it

There are a lot that you can search for within the app. Some of the forums also have the pop up like AC does when you log in via your browser that will tell you.

Oh and one mor ething, say I am using tapatalk here do I get notifications on the forum on the phone?

Yes, you do get notifications.

there is a free version, i believe. very limited, but see if it works. also you can see if the forums you frequent have it.

all the SPE sites are capable of it now... Android Central, CrackBerry, TiPb, WPCentral, PreCentral and I believe Nokia Experts as well.

Ive never gotten notifications. Also mine seems to take a long time to load threads. Im sticking with the mobile site for the time being.

tapatalk is pretty good, if you want to see if your favorite forum is using it you can check their website or download the free version. I like the tapatalk over the other forum apps because it supports more forum types(Vbullentin,phpbb3, ipb, & smf)

yeah its pretty easy to add the plugin for your forum, I was able to add the plugin for my forum in about 5 minutes.

The latest version runs fine! Tapatalk pro was the first program I ever bought and I love it.
