Issue shareing image from Gallery app to Facebook app

So here's my issue. I will go into the gallery app, select an image, click on the share icon and select Facebook. The Facebook app will launch and then immediately close taking me back to the Gallery app. I will open the Facebook app to see if there is a draft waiting for me to press the Post button but there is not. Is this doing the same thing for others? Trying to figure out if it's a setting on my phone or if it's the Facebook app. I tried sharing to text, email and all of the other options from the Gallery app and those work just fine.

I'd prefer this method because I have quite a few pictures on my phone and if I go into Facebook and then select the camera icon to share a photo it lumps all of my images together making it hard to locate the particular picture I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
