Is there a way to activate a screen recorder when opening a specific app and end the recording when the app is closed? (On Android)

On Android, apps can record the screen, but I do not believe there is anything built into Android itself for this. First, you will have to download a screen-recording app from the Play Store. Launch it, start recording, then launch the app you want to record. The recording app may offer a feature to trim the bit of the beginning as you are switching apps. The only other way I am aware of to do this is via ADB console commands.
