    Dealing with photos on Android sorta drives me nuts. Do none of the photo gallery apps utilize EXIF data? If you know of one which does please reply.

    No, Gallery-type apps don't. You need an EXIF app - and that's not for displaying your pictures, it's for editing the EXIF data. (I don't know of anyone who makes a display app that also reads EXIF data.)

    What do you mean by "utilize EXIF data"?
    Like sort by capture date instead of the file date?

    I found F-Stop which is able to determine the EXIF data and sort the photos by date taken. As opposed to date modified, which is useless when uploading one's archive to the phone makes all photos appear to have been taken on the day they were moved to the phone.

    I do have everything in yearly folders, F-stop was able to break some of those down by month.

    Sadly the moves across the last three phones has erased some of the date taken data out of EXIF...
