Didn't I read about an app out there now that will allow me to SCAN the UPC labels from my shopping cards, like CVS, SHOP-RITE, WEGMANS, etc, and then, when needed, be able to "beam them back" to the register, thus allowing me to get rid of the G/a/H looking keytags hanging from my keys?

At one point I thought someone said ShopSavvy or Barcode Scanner has a function like this, but I can't seem to find it in either? Can you help?
    Thanks!

There is an app called keyring that does this. I have and I have tried to use it at multiple stores and have never been successfull. One of the cashiers at Bestbuy told me that about 1 in 5 people who have tried to use that app have got it to work. So I've filed this as another one of those great ideas that just don't quite make it.

I have no luck with any barcode scanner that I found on market. Maybe my camera (3.15MPix) is too low, without LED Flash... (HTC Magic)... I'll give a try with my new Moto Dext which has an 5MPix camera, but no LED Flash.

Anyone know of an app that you can scan bar codes and save the numbers and export them to a text file on the PC?
