I just flashed my old Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 from stock KitKat to LineageOS 14.1. In the process I lost the ability to block texts, based on keywords in their content (including those from senders that are in my contacts). Neither the GApps or Google Messaging app for Nougat have this ability. I've looked at numerous 3rd party apps available via the Play Store, and so far the all either 1) don't offer the feature, 2) it doesn't work the way I need it to, or 3) the app drives me nuts with over-the-top ads, wacky features, and/or bugs. Can anybody recommend a decent app that does what I need please? I don't care about emojis, stickers, themes, multi-media, etc.. All I want is basically the same functionality I had with the stock messaging app that I got from Sprint on my GS3 to begin with.

    Thanks in Advance!

Since I never knew any SMS app had this feature, I cannot help.
However, I am interested in where this thread goes.
