I present you with excellent app for Android "My GPS places".
The purpose of the app is saving places GPS and display them on the world map.
Features of the app:
- Presenting current position on the map
- Present all saved places on the map
- The data are stored in a local database
- The ability to save any number of places
- The ability to give their own places GPS friendly name
- The ability to create new categories of GPS
- The ability to remove stored categories and places GPS
- Maps available modes (normal, satellite, hybrid)

The app stores data in a local SQLite database available on any Android device.
High standard used when creating the database provides instant access to data.
Convenient, easy to use and navigate user interface.

Nice application, you probably need to work more on design part but that's not a big issue

Thank you for your answer. The graphics are not my forte. In my apps, primarily I put on:
1. operating speed and reliability - realized using my 15 years of experience architect.
2. Safety - need only really necessary powers.

Is the application running under RAM and battery life?

The app has an option to display google maps. While browsing they need energy on wifi and gps. When the app is inactive, it does not use the battery or ram. The app only needs really the necessary permissions to display the map (as well as ads).
