I have an EVO and an iPad2.

I foolishly bought a book on the iBooks app (through iTunes) for the iPad to read on airplanes.

If I switch over to Kindle from now on, will I be able to access the same purchases on both the iPad's Kindle App and my Android phone's Kindle app?

Depending on the situation, I'd like to use one device or another (like the iPad on airplanes, the EVO while in the john ). I'd like to not have to buy the same book twice, so wondering if buying through the Kindle app will allow me to download the same book purchase on both devices....

Yes, you will be able to read on all registered devices. Books will even sync. Just be aware that periodicals will send to whatever device you set as the default.

That's what I was hoping. Thanks.

I've got a DroidX, iPad, and Kindle.....one purchase on Amazon and I can read the book on all three devices and they auto sync to each other (you can pick up where you left off from one device to another automatically). Very cool.
