Is there an Android Tv category? I couldn't find it.
I am trying to get the BBC iPlayer to work on my Sony KDL55w800c smart android tv from Australia.
I have downloaded 2 versions of the apk and also VyprVPN. One version of the BBC app is a smart tv version while the other is a phone version.
I start the VPN up and say that I am located in the UK. When I start up the BBC apps they both appear to start up and I am presented with a BBC homescreen showing the programs. The only problem seems to be selecting a program. The remote does not allow me to select anything.
I then install my son's playstation remote control onto the tv and i got a mouse pointer appearing that I could control. Anyway i still could not get it to select a program.
Has anyone out there got this working thanks?
