I have just bought a new Lenovo Moto G5. I am getting used to it after Apple phones in the past. It basically seems fine but I use Amazon Kindle to read books a lot when I am commuting. I can load the up from Play Store but cannot then get it to operate. It basically comes up with a message saying "Unable to connect to Amazon. Please verify the WI-FI status and device date and time, then try again." However, the WI-FI status seems fine. I have removed app and reloaded it many times. I seem to get the same problem with the Amazon Shopping app which is less important to me.
