So since apple refuses to release iMessage for Android what's you all's thoughts for sending and receiving SMS on other platforms? Mac, PC, tablets, etc.

Pros and cons of each.

I know there are other messaging options, including FB, WhatsApp, etc. But I'm asking specifically about SMS/MMS.

Thanks

TMobile Digits app for me. Pro, it works and is supported by Samsung at a low level. Cons is it still has some bugs in app to work out.

Who is your cell carrier?

I've had Verizon messages for a few years, texts come to my phone and up to 5 other devices i install the Verizon messages app onto. My Tab S2 can even make and receive calls using my number over loud speaker or with a Bluetooth headset on. My Surface Pro, a cheap windows tablet, and my desktop all get my texts as well. I think it's a great feature to have.

T-Mobile has a similar thing now too, and others might as well.

Otherwise I tried mighty text and push bullet in the past but those seemed buggy and inconsistent to me.
