I've been using AquaMail for the last couple of years or less but
I don't like it draining my battery in order to have push enabled,
I would prefer a cloud based email app to check itself if I've got
new messages and push me a notification from their cloud,
I don't want to be the server myself,
also I don't care about privacy that much,
I don't transfer sensitive data,
so, any suggestions?

Who is your email provider? GMail? Yahoo? Your cable company (Comcast, Optimum)?

You can access most email services with the GMail app which should be native on your Android device. Lots and lots of people also like Blue Mail - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.bluemail.mail&hl=en

In general, however, things like "push" services depend upon what your provider offers. In many cases, true push is not possible (as with, for example, Microsoft Exchange "ActiveSync" technology), so you end up with some version of your mail client checking for new mail every 5/10/15/30/whatever minutes.

thanks!

I use gmail and I was using TypeMail (the same as Bluemail) before aquamail,
but I don't like it since it seems somehow "cumbersome" on my device
