Recently, I was checking the data usage of installed apps on my S6 with Android 7.0 and I found out a very troubling thing with Face Swap app background data usage history. Over a span of a little less than 3 months, it used a whopping 5.24 GB background data, which is scattered over these 3 months. I am pretty confident that out of 2 of the 3 months, I didn't even touch this app. And when I used, it was only for a maximum of total 2 hours, that too scattered over these two hours. I first explored its features. I tested some 10-15 faces after downloading them, took a maximum of a total of 8 snaps and remember to have created a total of one video of not more than 30 seconds duration. That's all. I'm really suspicious about what got transferred over the network through this app. I also emailed to the developer of this app some 5 days ago but haven't got a response till now. Please share if something like this has ever happened with any of you. I really want to get to the bottom of this and want to find out what to be done next.

Hey Face Swap developers, I recently noticed that Face Swap app is using enormous amount of background data on monthly basis, which to me looks very troubling and suspicious. you must inform me what could be the reason behind such background data usage, and the specifics of the data that got transferred in the background, otherwise I will have no option but to create a post in various Android Apps related online communities and make others aware of such anomaly if this is the case with them as well.
Do the needful asap.
I'm Attaching the screenshots of the screen where it displays the amount of background data that was used by Face Swap in different monthly cycles.
I must point out that There were two monthly cycles when I didn't even touch this app, still it shows enormous amount of background data being used. very suspicious!!!
