Get this "developer" off the Market!

Look, we all love that the Android Market does not have the strict "walled garden" approach that Apple's App Store does. However, maybe it's just me, but I would much rather prefer that the Android Market be somewhere in the middle.

Why do I feel that way? Because of "developers" like this...

This thread wasn't my way of trying to push my opinion onto anyone. I brought it up due to whether or not he actually could do this legally. I'm not an expert on GNU GPL but is it legal for this person to be selling/profiting off of selling a link to software/code that isn't his and is openly available down to the source? If this is legal, then I stand corrected and this falls under the "buyer beware" category.

Isn't it the responsibility of the user to simply not buy an app that sells free links?

I don't see how the app works, wouldnt you need to be rooted and everything first.
