    Hi there,

Im sure this has most likely been posted about on here before. Why does Google Play do this when updating apps? See picture. Its really winding me up. I asked about it on Android Lovers Forum on Facebook. Apparently, it happens to every android device, but i want to know why and how Google can get away with this misrepresentation?

It's not a misrepresentation at all, just a little misinterpretation.

When installing an app, as a rule of thumb, you generally need at least twice the update size of free space. Once the update is downloaded (in this case, nearly 69MB), it still needs to be decompressed, processed, files extracted and manipulated, and installed (so, in the end, you really need twice as much, or in this case, nearly twice at 132MB). Once the update is finished, however, you will be left with residual data that will be wiped eventually in temporary files (again, usually, half the total space needed for installation).
