Astro Expiring?

maybe just an april fools joke, but i got a notification that our dear friend astro file manager is going to expire in 3 days

what do you guys think?

That's what I'm afraid of. I think if they did choose to charge for it, I'd happily pay up (providing it's reasonably priced). ASTRO has to be one of the apps I use the most on my phone.

I'd have to second that. I think Astro's file manager is a great utility. Becoming a paid app is pretty reasonable considering what they give us.

They just released the next beta. It is also free and ends in May.

no. you gotta root to do screen shots. Or use a home replacement app. I think it's dxtop (???)

the developer reminds me of a drug dealer, "the first time's free." -- gets ya' hooked and them.... BAM! pay up! Well, I'm hooked, I'll pay.

Metago has always done this. It keeps people from using older versions and reporting bugs that have been fixed.
