Was having a discussion with my wife tonight about how it would be nearly impossible to expect our kids to be able to dial emergency services from our phones in the event that something went wrong. They have just turned 4 and 6, so reading is basically out of the question. On our Pixels you would have to press power, swipe up to reveal the lock pattern, press the small emergency text at the bottom and then finally dial 911. It's asking a lot of a young child who may be panicked.

So, I had an idea. Not sure if this would even be possible without full integration with the OS, but basically you would register your kids fingerprints as "emergency fingerprints" with the phone. When they are used to unlock the phone it immediately goes to either the dialer, or a screen with single click access to a direct dial shortcut to emergency services.

Does anyone know if something like this already exists out there? If not, I wonder if it would even be possible with the existing Android fingerprint API's. Thanks!
