    Hi

I think the 7 Plus is a really solid phone and I suspect that its long battery life has something to do not only with the high capacity battery but that the maximum brightness on stock Android is just not that bright, compared, to say, an Honor V10 or an Asus Zenfone 5.

I suspect the hardware may be capable out outputting at that level on the 7 Plus screen (I'm happy to stand corrected on this) so was wondering whether there is an app that can override the max. brightness parameters set by Android One? It's not like I'd leave it super-bright all the time, but for reviewing media and such like, it's nice.

Thanks for any suggestions and especially if you've experienced it or can point to those who have on a Nokia 7 Plus.

The alternative I'm considering is the Honor V10, which has a much more contrasty, bright screen at max brightness (and very well spec'd for the money at £370).

I think that you will find that maximum means maximum and there is no 110%.
