Hi All. I noticed recently the Facebook app on my homescreen, but I never installed it.

When i pushed and held down on it, it gave me an info option. I pressed info and under info it had the name "Invisible Net" rather than Facebook. I installed then uninstalled FB and the icon then disappeared from the homescreen. I'm really not tech-savvy so is someone able to explain this? Thanks in advance.

Phone is a Moto E5 Play.

Do you ever visit the Facebook mobile website on your browser app? If so, you might have inadvertently added Facebook to your homescreen as a webpage shortcut.
