I am writing on behalf of a woman who experiences sudden severe speech loss that can last for days. She lives in the Netherlands. I have been searching for an app that will allow her to communicate by phone with businesses, and the rest of the outside world. This woman is intelligent, but not technological. The perfect app would:
1. Be user friendly and easy to use. Perhaps with icons she could press.
2. Allow her to conduct a conversation by typing or pretyping phrases like a soundboard.
3. Speak Dutch and English.
She has told me that she does not want a medical app that speaks for her, but only a supplement when she cannot speak for herself on the phone, so she can conduct the business of living.
