I loved the look and feel of Touiteur, but the timeline loads extremely slow for me.

Hootsuite is a bit more basic, and to the point, but loads fast, and ALWAYS works perfectly. I vote Hootsuite.

Yup... Touituer loads ridiculously slow.

Another issue I have is that the timeline won't even update as I'll see newer tweets on my iPhone, BlackBerry & Pre, but don't see it on Touituer. Sometimes it is just my @replies and all I have to do is go to the public timeline, scroll to the top and then it shows.

Honestly, it's getting annoying and didn't have many issues with Seesmic. It's also free.

is there one where you can see what a person is replying too? or one that when you type the @ symbol your followers appear?

(Sorry coming from a bb and ubertwitter was the bomb!)

but I don't think when you type the @ symbol it will allow you to see a list of your followers.
It's a pain to remember names to type for DM's....:D

In Seesmic you can go to the Profile tab and then get to your followers pretty easily, though.

That said, these days I use Touiteur.

I downloaded four Twitter Apps

I have Seemic, Touiteur, Tweetcaster and Twidroid

Seemic is almost perfect but with no exit application, I tend to not use it

Touiteur has a nice UI but takes a while to load

Tweetcaster is decent

Twidroid still to me is really good

I haven't used Twicca or the Official Twitter App since I do not have 2.1
Heard both are good

I'm currently downloading Swift and Hootsuite...i'll see how well they are.

The Official Twitter client is nice. The only thing I don't like is that the homescreen for the app is only in portrait mode. I hope there's an update coming out to fix that.
