The Android app problem

Android has a huge problem that nobody seems to care about. I reached out to Filmic Pro about app parity and features and the response was very transparent and real and addresses one of the only problems I have with Android as a whole and that's manufacturer access's especially when it comes to the camera(s). Apple is willingly working with developers to bring better features to their phones and since they don't differ drastically year to year, developers are able to greatly reduced the time it takes to build awesome features into their apps. But there's some hope. I do believe that they're willing to give us the same features. I just wonder if we can get our manufacturers to care enough. This is the most tempting reason to switch to iOS for me. Here's the screenshots.

I'm not sure I agree with this. Apple has one of the most closed and secretive company cultures of any company in the tech industry. Also their app review process is draconian compared with the Google/Android app review process.
