ok so i'm looking for answer to this question so when i clear cache and data (when i load up a new rom) and i reinstall the apps i still have the same settings as i did before the wipe. I was going to post this in the hacking forum but because i figure people that aren't rooted but have to do a factory reset for whatever reason can find out as well.

so is there a way to make sure the app settings and saved info can be restored or do i have to restart every app with a fresh start. For example, I downloaded Replica Island a few weeks ago and got pretty far in it but then i upgraded Koush's rom and when i reinstalled the app i had to restart the game which made me say "F___ it" and just uninstalled it because i didn't want to start all over. This is for all apps as a whole, not just games or select apps. I have heard of people using Titanium Backup ( i think thats what it is called) to back up there apps so when they flash a new rom or do a factory reset they can have their backed up apps restored to the phone as well as it being linked to the market place so that they can get updates but i dont know if this will have the apps saved data as well.

I'm kind of hoping im not the only one who get bothered by this haha

thanks in advance for any info that you can add

Titanium Backup does provide the ability to restore app data, but I've had mixed results with it. I've found it easier to just go back and reconfigure everything, as it seems to take about just as long.
