Why does Facebook lite expire on my account?

[Android Central Question]

I recently bought Samsung galaxy j4 and updated Facebook lite. A few days later l logged into Facebook and got a notification saying free Facebook expired switch to data mode. What are the causes of this and can l switcg back to free Facebook.
