Android Central Question

I tried sending a message to a new person on facebook's messenger (without a facebook account, only a messenger one with my phone number), and I get back the message "Send failed Your account's phone number has been confirmed by another Messenger account. You cannot initiate threads with people that do not have you as a contact." I did try to create a Facebook account with the same phone number thinking that the two would sync. But this did not happen. Then, I removed my phone number from the facebook account and instead replaced it with an email address but the error message keeps popping up. What can I do??

If you created a FB account, have you logged into Messenger using said FB account? If the number was 'claimed' by another account, you need to have FB cancel that and re-verify with yours.

I have logged into Messenger with the said account and it works normally. It's a second account with new messenger and everything. And this account has the right to send messages to people not in the contacts. Although, the initial Messenger account remains with this restriction. Everything else works normally. Even when I try to switch accounts, sometimes, not always, it bugs out and says that the account chosen is the already "open" on the Messenger app, while in reality it is the other one. Even if I ask to re-verify everything, will the restriction go away?
