Does anyone know if USB-C is supported for an Android Auto connection? I just ordered the Nexus 6P today and was wondering if I was going to be out of luck for connecting it to my new AVH-4100NEX.

You'll just need a cable with Type A (standard port) on one end and Type C on the other, which can be plugged in directly or through a USB extension cable. I have extension cables running from my 8100NEX to the front console and then can plug any kind of USB cable into that (micro USB, lightning or eventually Type C). Future generations of these head units will likely incorporate Type C native ports at some point.

My 5X is on the way and I has similar thoughts. As a temp fix, I bought a micro B female to male C adapter off of Amazon so I wouldn't have to pull anything apart (Extender on USB1 already, 2A USB on USB2).
