A number of Chevy Vehicles have a Heads Up Display (HUD) where information is projected onto the windshield like MPH, tach, etc. I have a 2016 Corvette and the standard factory navigation puts the turn by turn info in the HUD. It's really nice to just look straight ahead and then get a notification that your exist is 1/2 mile away along with a directional arrow and a sort of reverse progress bar counting down to when the exit arrives.
My question is why doesn't Google Maps in AA put such information into the HUD on Chevy cars? Is it just that the API was not documented? Or some other reason?
