My old Nexus 5x worked fine in my Chrysler Pacifica (after switching to a higher end cable).
I recently purchased an Android One MotoX4. It sometimes worked, sometimes didn't (often required a reboot to connect).
The phone updated to Android 8.1 about 2 weeks ago. Now, it won't connect to Android Auto at all. I've tried the factory cable, a high-end cable that worked with my old phone, cleared data and cache for Android Auto on the phone, uninstalled an re-installed Android Auto on the phone, and "forgot" the phone from the head unit. Nothing seems to make any difference. The phone never connects and never launches Android Auto on the head unit.
Any ideas?
