The last bought device for me was the Galaxy II, though I bought the Evo lte for my wife, which is absolutely the best phone she has ever had!! With the fantastic battery life she has on that Evo (2100 ma battery on the Sprint model was bigger than other carriers), she has been rubbing my face in it. "Oh honey, look I only have 50% battery left (at the end of the day)!" Ugh. :-/
The Photon is a beast with a keyboard or the LG Optimus with fast processor and camera! Awesome phones!!

Galaxy S3 for Sprint. Well technically I just purchased a used Kindle Fire. So I guess that's the most recent.
Sent from a phone using an application. That's pretty cool.

We're back! Apologies for the delay -- we had some technical demons to squash this week, and we wanted everyone to be able to enter this contest.

So, welcome to Day 4 of our five-day Nexus 7 and $25 Google Play Gift Card giveaway, courtesy of the fine folks at Google. Read below for instructions on how to enter.

[WARN]Some folks have trouble following directions. Please read the words that are under this scary red box to make sure you're entered to win. We'd hate for you to miss out because you weren't paying attention.[/WARN]
Here's how to enter today's contest:

    1. Let us know the last Android device you purchased. We're curious.
    2. We'll pick a winner and box up a killer tablet (and 25 bucks to spend on it) and send it your way.
    3. Only one entry per thread. (Open to everyone worldwide ...)
    4. Only one entry per person.
    5. If you won a device in the past year from Mobile Nations, you're ineligible. Gotta spread the love.
    6. If you cheat, we will catch you. Then you can't ever win any contests across the Mobile Nations family of sites. Don't do that, 'cause we love to give stuff away.
    7. Read above about appropriate pictures.
    8. Have fun, and good luck.

Hi. Hope your day is going well. I purchased the new Nextbook 7 with Goggle Play that was just released. I saw an ad in last Sunday's Walmart ad. I really had my heart set on a Nexus 7. It was rated Consumer's Guide Best Buy. All research testified to their rating it so. So, I had been keeping track of sales on the Nexus 7 but when I saw the Walmart ad (reading it too quickly), I mistook Nextbook for Nexus, and purchased the tablet. I realized my error when I got home. I, therefore, researched the Nextbook and found the reviews to be very favorable. As I mentioned, my heart was set on the Nexus. I had picked out the Nexus because it had a GPS, which would be handy for me when I travel. The only con to the Nexus is that it does not have expandable potential but the Nextbook does - to 32G. Still would love to have the Nexus 7!! Thank you for this chance.

Sony Xperia S! I know the T was the bond phone, but was out of my price range, and didn't want a Galaxy S3, as they have become the Android version of the iphone (sheep phone) It's the style and class that oozes out of the Xperia S, with it's clear lit band around the bottom of the handset that spoke to me. I have always had and loved Sony Ericsson mobiles, and having one with such grace and poise that ended up running 4.04 Android out of the box was my dream come true :-) Now I get major compliments from those with both iphones and S3's (which look like someone talking through a Kindle during calls). And with what is STILL the best camera and pixel dense screen on a mobile, as well as having more gaming oomph than a ps1,and i'm chuffed to bits with my Xperia S :-)
