so far its All access music. I listen to tons of new radios every day. Hearing things i've never heard before. I also liked play services i think. Separating it was a good move.

Google Glass was the best announcement so far. Combined with the whole skydiving thing made it even more awesome.

Google Glass is a very cool and innovative device. That was awesome, and I certainly hope to see more stuff like this.

I was mostly impressed with the speech recognition and how it recognized that you can say "How far is that from here" and it recognized what you were asking it. That is some impressive algorithms.

I'm conflicted between to major announcements. The nexus 7 was great, and is truly a great tablet at a great price with the very best of google and android. And Google Music. I use it every day.

Hoping to hear first hand the great announcements of Google I/O 2014. Thanks Android Central.

Google Glass was it for me. I loved most of the other Android related announcements, but Google Glass created a new category of devices.

My favorite announcement were the Google Play Services. I'm Android developer for a while and always had to use 3rd party sdk's to offer my players some kind of leaderboards. With this announcement Google gave us a product to create awesome apps.

And the Google Play Services don't stop here. Distribution of functions which are used on any phone, regardless of its Android Version.

    Awesome!

I would definitely say my favorite announcement is the Google Glass with the way they did Google hangout live on the spot from the airplane and coming onto the stage in a very Rube Goldberg fashion.
Hope to win a ticket for Google I/O!

I keep trying to create an app for my science and science fiction website, and I've been having that "missing the boat" feeling as I realize that more and more people much prefer the 'in app' experience over the open web. I'm not comforted by Apple's introduction of Swift; I'm sure it still reflects Steve Jobs' mania for control, and I'd rather use a more open platform. I'm hoping that if I can get some instruction from the source I'll be able to get over the hump.

From a consumer perspective, the presentation of Google Glass using the bikes and sky divers was pretty risky but good example of technology advancement. Auto-awesome, OK google and new Google Maps were other good announcement.

From developer perspective Android Studio based on Jetbrains IntelliJ and Google Play Services.

Of course it was Google Glass. I was watching it live in my home. It was unbelievable. I wish I were there. I wish I were there to put my name on the list to be the first Google Glass Explorers. I am now an Explorer now.

I am waiting for the new announcements about wearables this year.

Hands down, the best announcement was Sergey Brin walking in on Vic doing updates and demos of Google+. The way he casually walked in and explained that this presentation was time sensitive and the playfulness of doing it in that manner was hysterical. Then, the camera jumping (pun intended) to the blimp over the Moscone Center and explaining that some dudes were about to parachute onto the building doing a live hangout with some computer strapped to their face was incredible. Oh, and then some guys repelled down the building. Oh, and then they BMXed into the conference room. Oh, and then why don't we do the whole thing again the next day and explain it in more detail. Amazing.

Granted, Glass hasn't been super overwhelming since then (I'm an Explorer), but I think at the right price point it could be really beneficial.

My favorite announcement was Google Play Services. It would be great if Google annouce same separation for all the devices: A service that allow user to have a full google experience no mather what phone they bought and update to latest android version.
I have a Nexus 5 and I really can not understand why people stuck on other android interface (touchwiz, sense...).
