What really excites me is the chance I could win one of these amazing LG VR devices and a matching phone so I would have the perfect setup to use and my Daughter would love to be able to use it also. My Daughter is absolutely the most wonderful person I know.

I really think virtual reality will be very cool, but will take a lot of trial and error to get it right.

I think the best part of VR is that its immersive and it takes you away from the world around for those moments.
As for the smartphones, they have replaced many everyday tools and are pushing the envelope in what you can accomplish and how you use them.
I think smartphones have changed the way people consume all types of media and in a way "force" the old media empires to cater to the end user. I feel today I have choice in how I consume my media and those companies are in a way working hard to get my attention, it was different back 10 years ago.

    Hope to Win
Thanks for all the information and entertainment.

    Enjoy

I'm interested in VR for being able to get more in depth and feel like I am in space, the bottom of the ocean, or somewhere I normally wouldn't be able to go. Self educating and growing my mind is something I strive for every day.

I think I'm most excited for training and medical uses of VR. I'm not much of a gamer, but I'm interested in exploring this new technology.

And smart phones continue to impress and excite me. Love the convenience and advancement of it all. Had fun the other day explaining pagers/beepers to my 16 year old lol.

I'm excited about what this would mean for exploring other parts of the world. If they work on HD 360 imagery with photosphere and Google Maps Street view technology, there could be a chance to see parts of the globe in ways never possible to people who can't afford to globe-trot.

I think that the most exciting part of VR is experiencing things that you may never get to IRL in a more immersive way. Adding smartphones to the mix could be an interesting way of getting very immersive experiences on the go.

My Dad had an old stereoscopic camera, so as a kid I was viewing 3D pics in a lighted viewer. This is the next level of interaction with photos and places and imagined worlds.

I'd like to try a VR display, never had the chance. The closest thing yet for me is doing the 3D youtube videos that act like a photosphere on my phone (flying couches anyone?). Even using Google Cardboard apps without a proper device can be cool if you do that funky stereoscopic-crossing-your-eyes-thingy, but having a VR for G3 and a new phone to go along with it would be a huge thank to the strain on my optic nerves. Thank you for the chance to get one of these. Winning would be greatly appreciated.
