I work in an office that develops online classes for the University I work for, and VR excites me because of the possibility of creating content for students to interact with or to visit places/historical events, or even training sessions and immersive learning using VR. This is particularly useful for an online class where students feel somewhat disconnected from the material, so literally putting them in the middle of it with VR would be incredible.

I am really, really excited to start playing around with VR technology and to introduce it to faculty who can do amazing things with it.

I am most excited because I would be able to take the VR gear 20 minutes down the road and explore the office park Android Central is in (Pensacola represent) all while thinking I'm walking around Destin.

I want to pick back up on VR again. I remember it in the 90s, where everything looked really basic. I'm sure it's improved over the last 20 years.

VR will be cool to play with, but probably too heavy on your face for very long. I would love to give it a try though! (Sprint)

Aside from motion sickness that would go along with it, just experiencing a new way to interact with your mobile phone and the environment around you. (Plus geeking out with gear).

What is exciting about VR is: come on, everyone dreamt of having a "holo deck" like on Star Trek, the question is, who wouldn't be excited!

I am obviously excited for some VR games, though a little timid that I might get sick, but what I'm mostly excited for is the unknown. I think with VR's resurgence, there are bound to be new and innovative things around the corner. THAT'S what I'm excited for!

I've been reading about VR or its equivalent in science fiction for decades. I've been on virtual world sites (ran a server for a while). To think that I lived to see the day that VR is becoming a reality is so exciting that I can't think of anything more exciting about it. (When I was a kid, calling the next town meant calling the operator and placing a long distance call, and airliners had propellers. Now we can "be" on the surface of Jupiter if someone writes a VR app for it. If that doesn't excite someone, he needs his coffin replaced, he's been dead too long.)

I like the idea of getting lost in an experience. With Virtual Reality it is like you are actually part of the experience as opposed to just seeing something that is happening. As the technology progresses the experiences will just become more and more immersive. And I can't wait.
