Virtual reality, if open source the possibilities are limitless. I still love how the Google goggles used to work and Nokia maps. If I can get live information on everything I see, it can make anyone a super intelligent person. Your choices are better and smarter.

I'd like to experience gaming and watching a movie with a VR headset, I think that experience would be pretty cool. It will be very interesting to see what developers do as these VR sets become more widely used.

The G3 would be a great upgrade from my G2!!!

I am excited for the possible future with HUDs that you can use. I think it would probably be better in a Google Glass form factor. But I think it would be really cool to have all that information displayed over top of real life. Just imagine being able to look at your car and seeing the fuel level, battery charge, and oil change date without looking anything up.

VR would be more for games but I am not sure if it will really take off this time either.

LGs VR system would be amazing to try out. My Samsung rep brought us the gear VR and I'd love to compare the two as far as games and overall functionality. LG has been getting better and better and their VR is, from what I've heard, top shelf. The LG g3 is also a great phone to have and I'd love to try out that laser focus I've heard so much about. The pair would definitely be great to see how far they go with the dev community that Android has and third party companies should have a field day with the new tech coming out!

Hi Android Central, first of all I would like to thank you for the giveaway you guys are pulling off. Hopefully the lucky winners will make use of this product that will inevitably revolutionize the way we think and interact with each other. I will try to cut short my excitement regarding this product which if really developed, would take me around 3 tomes to explain my feelings!!

I will quickly point out that the main focus of this writing is concerned to the VR used for the G3, not the phone itself. Even though it is a fine product, I already possess an HTC One M8 which could be considered pretty alike (G3 is a better phone overall and would not mind to get my hands on one either). Now, to the fun part! I have been looking my whole life to be immersed on the virtual reality, even when I was a child I could not help but to wonder how would it be to feel and experience a world without living in it (I am 19 so it was not long ago). Now, with the coming of VR my eagerness to try one on has gone through the ROOF. My hardcore gaming history throughout my life has made me embrace more the fact of interacting with online players with the use of VR and this is my chance to make the dream come true. Thus, I started college a year ago and my heavy use of gaming has diminished a little. Still, other hobbies have come into play, like looking at the sky stars and intense coding (Comp. Science Major) which I bet are features that will be included on apps and such. What I am most exited for, is not the current mainstream media coverage the VR is receiving, but what the future holds for this new technology is what keeps me on the edge of VR flipboard news hoping this VR and G3 giveaway will be my doors to developing content for this device of the future. Again, thank you guys for the giveaway!

VR is a definite part of the future of mobile. An overlay of information that tells me what I'm looking at automatically, or interacting with the space around me in some kind of game is so exciting! The world is a blank canvas, and it's exciting to see companies like LG start their masterpieces.

The thing that has me excited the most about VR on android is the very real possibility of casting your screen onto the TV as well so you don't look like such a moron when you have something strapped to your face. At least there will be some context to possible onlookers.
