Apparently:
- Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam predicted six more weeks of winter
- Ontario's Wiarton Willy said an early spring
- Manitoba Merv thinks six more weeks of winter
- Balzac Billy from Alberta says early spring
- Okanagan Okie from BC also says early spring
...and Fred la Marmotte from Quebec, well apparently that ground hog was found dead just before the festivities.

Here where I am, it's dipping down to about minus 30C tonight.

We had 69° F in Central NY last week. We usually have at least 3 feet of snow on the ground from December to March. This year we've only had a few days of snow 6" or less. Shoveling snow is usually a multiple times a week chore through the winter season. I haven't shoveled snow once this year. Crazy!

Looks like I get a snow day, 30cm of snow over night with more to come.
Our annual spring snow storm is early this year.

Balmy late-winter afternoon- it’s 69° Fahrenheit. Classrooms are overly warm so some professors are teaching outside.

We have had record highs in Central NY the last two days and possibly another record today. Currently 82° F and climbing. But back to cold of 47° F on Tuesday.
