I want to get the new HTC one M8. However there is no reliable s-off root for it. It works on some not others and it's random as to which particular handset works.
I have been thinking about a OnePlus One from OnePlus cheaper, more powerful but I really love HTC. I have purchased the HTC flagship phone every year since the HTC Desire which was my first smartphone.
Any thoughts?
In regard to HTC one M8 - I know two people who got one from Telstra shops, one can be unlocked one can not.. I won't be gambling $800 I can't afford in the first place on a 50/50 bet.
Keeping this in mind, if all you have to comment is "s-off worked/didn't work for me" don't bother. It's the equivalent of telling me you just flipped a coin and got heads/tails.
HTC needs to stop with the bullsh*t security rubbish though. It's pointless and annoying.
