OK I'm finally close to replacing my Moto G 2013, used solely for 6 months, following 18 months with a Note 3.
These 3 are now at great prices NIB unlocked in the UK. (£300 - 360).
Would it be crazy going for a Note 4 after around 16 months on the market?
It now comes with 5.1 here, iirc. Marshmallow would probably be the last major update.
It would possibly be the one I would enjoy most.
I'm also coming around to the fantastic value (£300) and ability of the G4, the removables, the camera and all the plus points after re-reading many blogs and reviews. I don't mind it's been out 8 months or so, and I can adapt or get to like the UI after 3 years of my preferred Touchwiz UI.
The Moto X Style fills all the boxes as a massive upgrade over the Moto G1 and it's now geriatric SD400. So I have been in the close to stock Android camp as well, use Google apps more, and it's logically the first choice.
I just think it may become a bigger less sluggish G1 and lack a wow factor.
(bear in mind, buying outright independently of a sim plan or carrier in the UK, doesn't encourage me to change my mind and deal with returns here, too much hassle, so I want to get it right)
Any thoughts?
