Google missed the boat on search

So, here's my one complaint I've been developing lately. Google is first and foremost a search company. They'll always say that search is their first priority. To that end, they've created an awesome desktop application. Why can't we have it on Android??? The search feature on my droid is good but it's just too limited. When I type in a name, I shouldn't only get their contact card, I also want to see emails and calls from them, as well as web results.
I'd love to see IPhone's universal search combined with google search for a truly outstanding experience.
