Thinking of getting an Android phone

Now that Verizon will have Android phones I'm thinking of getting one. However, I've been using the iPod Touch as my PDA and am used to the iPhone OS, just don't want to have to switch to AT&T. But I'm very dependent on a PDA for my daily schedule. So here are my questions about Android:

1) can I synch my contacts and calendar with Outlook?

2) is there a task (to-do list) application on the phones?

3) can you search the phone like you can with Spotlight on the iPod? (really important that I can search my calendar)

4) is there cut & paste? does it work as well as the iPhone 3.0 system?

5) is there voice recording? voice commands?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Not Sure?

2) is there a task (to-do list) application on the phones?

There are several apps, free and paid, that are downloadable from the marketplace.

3) can you search the phone like you can with Spotlight on the iPod? (really important that I can search my calendar)

There is a integrated google search bar that has the ability to search everything simultaneously, but as of now I don't think it searches through individual calendar events.

4) is there cut & paste? does it work as well as the iPhone 3.0 system?

There is in messaging, but no, not up to par yet. Key word, yet.

5) is there voice recording? voice commands?

There are many apps to download for this, and yes, there are voice commands.
