So I cleared all of the levels on the beta version. But now I am trying to get 3 stars. My question is, what does it take to get them? Do you have to clear it with 1 bird? I can't imagine clearing some of them with just one bird.

Some levels are one bird. Others are multiple. The stars are based on your total points for the level. Obviously the less birds you use the higher your points are going to be.

So how do you know how many points you need to get the stars?

just keep playing until you get them? that's how I've been doing it....though I could help you out a bit and post my high scores -I'm only 3 levels away from all three stars

1 - 32790 = 3 stars
2 - 35630 = 3 stars
3 - 52690 = 3 stars
4 - 47310 = 3 stars
5 - 56330 = 3 stars
6 - 38390 = 3 stars
7 -
8 - 57760 = 3 stars
9 - 90320 = 3 stars
10 - 60370 = 3 stars
11 - 77430 = 3 stars
12 - 65150 = 3 stars
13 - 73810 = 3 stars
14 - 103040 = 3 stars
15 - 80860 = 3 stars

EDIT: finished 12 and 13 finally - now to just figure out 7

You can get three stars on every level without cheating. lol.

I'm stuck at level 7 as well. So far only 1 star.

The walk through is for the main release of the game and doesn't match up with the levels in the beta. Level 7 is giving me fits too.

I can't remember which level it was but one level I got a better score (3 stars) using more birds...

Just need 3 stars on 7 and 15 myself. From the 3 star score posted, I missed it by a few hundred points on 15. Bummer. Level 7 is a PITA for 3 stars.

That one I got 3 stars after throwing the first bird, then I had to walk away for some reason.. came back and it was complete with 3 stars. I think sometimes you just have to wait and let the physics engine work it's magic. I had killed 1 pig direct, but the physics engine took over and they were all gone in a few minutes.

Now I am getting very frustrated (and addicted of course). I just don't know how the %$#@%$ to get 3 stars on some of levels. I have even cleared some with 1 bird yet did not get 3 stars for it.

Not impossible just tricky. I used two birds first knocks down the towers killing outside pigs and little pig. Then kill last two with second bird.
