Hopefully no one is offended, I tried to search these forums for many of these games and found no results.

Maybe I am showing my age, but... There were some games from my misspent youth (the 80s and 90s) on the PC that what they lacked in visual appeal made up for in true gameplay. They had screen resolutions that current smartphones chuckle at, the "sound" in them was buzzes and clicks. Some of them fit on one 120k floppy disk (yes, back then they were floppy).

They had stories, they were fun to play... Some things that can't be said about many of the games being churned out today.

Does anyone know of any companies mining their storehouses of games from that period to feed my new Android phone?

Just some titles off the top of my head:

    Powermonger
    Ancient Art of War
Ancient Art of War at Sea
    Starflight
Star Control and Star Control 2
    Loom
    Beyond Zork
    Maniac Mansion
    McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
    The Secret of Monkey Island
    Choplifter
    Labyrinth
    Odyssey: The Compleat Apventure
    Ultima

I am sure there are others.
